Flight of the Mite – Book Review

Oh ladies – I have read the sweetest story! I don’t normally do book reviews on here, but when I read it and loved it, I knew I had to share!

It’s called Flight of the Mite, and it’s the first book from Peppermint Toast Publishing. It came about when Grayson Smith decided to write a short story for his four year old niece Grace. After discovering that he wasn’t so skilled in the drawing department, he brought in Alana Kyle, a graduate of Emily Carr to illustrate. The combination of these two talents working together has left us with a sweet rhyming story about a little mites big imagination.

I truly believe this would be a great addition to your little ones library and I am excited to have it added to ours! You’ll love it. I promise!
And a little note for all my fellow Anvil Island goers – you’ll find it cool to know that those involved have a connection to the summer camp that so many of us have spent time volunteering at 😉

In case you need a little more convincing to purchase, for every book bought the company is donating $3.00 of it’s sales to BC Childrens Hospital Foundation. It’d make a perfect gift while supporting a wonderful charity!

The official book launch is tomorrow, but you can order your copy now here.

Disclosure: I was sent an early copy of the story in order to facilitate this review. The opinions are completely my own (and I love love love this book!)
