Thanks for dropping by Moments in Mommyland!
This blog started a few years back as a way to share the excitement and process my thoughts on entering the crazy world of parenting. As a stay at home mom who doesn’t work outside the home, blogging became my outlet and a way for me to connect with other mothers going through the same things. Motherhood is hard sometimes and I don’t shy away from the difficult days, but it’s also full of joy and incredible blessings!
So, a little about me?
For starters, I truly believe I live in one of the most beautiful places on earth – the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada. Though our family currently resides in a small townhouse, we are in the process of building our dream home on four acres in a recreational area of the Fraser Valley! I can’t wait to get my hands into earth, cook and bake in my country kitchen, and spend more time as a family on our land.
My husband and I met at a church conference in Calgary, Alberta and then dated long distance while he finished up his education in Northern Ontario. He proposed three months after we began dating and we’ve now been married for over seven years. This man keeps my head from drifting too far off into the clouds on a daily basis and loves me unconditionally. We have two rambunctious boys together, Noah and Asher, who were born 21 months apart. Miss Ella arrived October of 2015 and is the perfect completion to our family!
I have a serious case of wanderlust and our family travels as much as we can. Sometimes adventure looks like a local trip to the zoo or city park, but other times we head across Canada, into the USA, or cross international borders! We’re a homeschooling family who believes in hands-on-learning and we love our kids to not only read about things, but to see and experience them. Whether it’s camping in our family trailer or staying in a 5 star hotel, we know how to have a blast!
I feel called to live my life as a stay at home Mother, but finding ways to create and market in an authentic way is also a huge passion of mine. I believe I can do both without failing the other.
Thank you for joining me on this journey!
